What are your views concerning traditional fine art, like watercolor or oil paintings, compared to digital fine art paintings or drawings that are completely created using a computer with fine art software, such as Painter X or Photoshop, with a pen tablet, then printed as a Giclée print?

I wish I could study each one more often. No doubt the computer is transforming the direction art takes.  Digital lets me study and learn faster than I could with traditional mediums; but it's so nice to get into the paint or charcoal on occasion.

The creative freedom using these tools is incredible!

For some reason, I see them as two totally different skills -- I believe the ability to control the media might be similar in the brain, but there is a technical ability needed for the computer creation. I could be wrong --

In my humble opinion... it's ALL GOOD!!!! I wish I had time to play with every medium out there.
