Ever since 1999 I've been held captive by the turn of the new century, which meant the arrival of a futuristic world. I photograph the desert as it seems to hold the essence of the future. Capturing its energy is like a gift I feel is my duty to share.

Phototronica is the art of capturing something that is futuristic in digital format; I call the photo or file a phototron.

Many places inspire me, but the Valley of Fire and Lake Mead, Nevada, seem to hold the most fantasy.
