Libby Garry had no realization of her artistic talent until her mid-30's. She went to a commercial art school where she learned the basics; drawing, watercolor and the like. Feeling her training was incomplete she took painting classes at her local community college. Libby dabbles with watercolors occasionally, but her passion is for pen & ink drawing and painting with acrylics. A full time job limits the amount of time she can spend creating her artwork, so every year she composes a pen & ink calendar. This satisfies her personal goal of completing at least 12 pieces of artwork per year.

Creating artwork is a spiritual experience for Libby. When she finishes a piece of artwork she always wonders where it came from because it doesn't feel like she created it, she feels more like a conduit in the artistic process. She loves sharing inspiration with others and seeing how artists can help one another explore the gifts they have.
