From an early age, Charles had a strong desire to create. His imagination found means of expression wherever it could, from drawing and painting as a child to whimsical constructions from discarded rubbish and shop hardware. Art in it's many forms fascinated him. He began studying music at the age of ten and it became a powerful means of expression and continues to be. It is within the realm of music most of his ideas arise. During his involvement with art in high school and college, he found inspiration in styles ranging from the Old Masters to hyper-realism and modern abstraction. The natural world, Photography, Kustom Kulture, Underground and Outsider art all played a part in his imagination. Many years working in the graphics industry has allowed him to explore the possibilities of the computer as an artist's tool. Ever the student, he endeavors to learn more and create.
